Now I'm really going backwards in my blogging - I have a semester of shows I want to throw into your face. These are all VCU grad sculptors showing in an experimental space in downtown Richmond beFORE thesis and candidacy. I was without my camera for one or two of the nights and have cursed myself for the negligence (you're missing a giant man-eating David Herbert bird). i wanted to blog this now because it is a sort of companion set to thesis - you will recognize some pieces and the style of others...
That's grad glass sculptor Kiara. Both the piece she's engaging and the one below were in the candidacy show (missing from my Like Dowsing entry)
