love these pics! after being in mexico this summer, i am sad that american (or worse yet, european) society is so wary of color. mexico has such a more comfortable and liberating venue for expression. my favorite were the oaxacan wood carvings--google image search it if you're not already familiar.
is this recent? I love how these images speak the same language as your art. And seeing you're so fluent in your own process-you recognize this information.. wonderful!
