viva la Jared in Mexico!
wow. now, that is some great art. it was also nice to see that paul bunyon still exists.
love these pics! after being in mexico this summer, i am sad that american (or worse yet, european) society is so wary of color. mexico has such a more comfortable and liberating venue for expression. my favorite were the oaxacan wood carvings--google image search it if you're not already familiar.
is this recent? I love how these images speak the same language as your art. And seeing you're so fluent in your own process-you recognize this information.. wonderful!
Yes, but how is Mexico at Taco soup?
did you go to mexico again? so jealous...
Jared! This blog is great! Just came upon it. :) >>> roxy <<< of brooklyn
LOVE the photos. I just watched "La misma luna" and saw your photos and really want to go to Mexico.
actually, i think you might just be a really good photographer. ryan is in mexico like every other week. maybe you will see him.
Jesus wearing a crown of thorns eating watermelon?
This is a cool post. The old man with the cross is moving. Clearly see your work in some of these shots.
yes... my favorite is the mobile bild.
